APPOINTMENTS
You are encouraged to arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Clients are expected to contact the salon if they are running late. Clients failing to arrive on time or who do not contact the salon risk losing their appointment.

DEPOSITS
Paying a deposit shows us that you intend to show up to your appointment and it means you are entering into a contract with Maria Efthy Makeup. When you pay a deposit, you and Maria Efthy makeup agree: the exact service that you are paying for. Deposits vary and are based on the service requested. Online deposit payments will be applied towards your total on the day of your scheduled appointment. Deposits are not refundable or transferable.

CANCELLATIONS
We require at least 1 weeks notice to cancel an appointment, otherwise you may be charged in full for your appointment. Your deposit will be forfeited or you will be banned from returning as a customer. This also includes late cancellations, no-shows, and anyone arriving more than 15 minutes late.

REFUNDS AND CREDIT NOTES
Refunds are not applicable where the client cancels the appointment. Where through no fault of the salon or the client, for example in an act of god (COVID lockdowns or restrictions) where the appointment cannot be upheld, only then a credit note will be provided to the client. Please note, event cancelations, illness, travel issues, double bookings, change of mind, work duties, and anything of similar nature are not applicable to receive a credit note. Full refunds will apply in cases where Maria Efthy Makeup has to cancel the appointment. Credit notes are only valid for the original service you have booked for.

Please note a credit note cannot be used to pay the remainder of an appointment.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
We accept cash and all major cards i.e. Visa, Mastercard, American Express as well as bank issued EFTPOS chip cards. Please note that we do not accept personal cheques and do not give cash back on credit card sales. All card transactions 2% surcharge.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
10% surcharge applies on all services on public holidays.

DO I NEED TO SUPPLY MY OWN LASHES OR MAKEUP ?
All makeup will be supplied and a free pair of mink lashes per person is included in the cost. IF for any reason you would like to bring your own makeup Maria is happy to also utilise that.

HOW LONG DOES A MAKEOVER TAKE ?
Glam Makeup consists of 1 hour.

Bridal makeup and bridal trials can take up to 1 hour and a half.


HOW SHOULD I PREPARE TO HAVE MY MAKEUP DONE ?
It is asked that each client have a clean make-up free face before sitting in my chair. Skin preparations begin with a good skincare routine, especially before your wedding. If you’d like any recommendations, Maria would be happy to help.

No botox or filler at least 2-3 weeks before your makeup appointment/wedding.

PRIVACY POLICY
We are committed to the privacy of customer information, and care about how your personal information is collected, used and shared. We comply with all applicable data protection and privacy legislation affecting your personal information. Your rights are protected by law and this policy does not limit those right. We disclose personal information to our contractors only for a purpose that is consistent with the way we have informed you that we will use this information in the privacy policy.Most importantly we WILL NOT disclose, sell or give any of your personal information to any third party without your consent. Your personal information includes your email address, phone number and address. When you make an online booking we DO NOT store your credit card details on any computers or servers administered by us. Whenever you visit our website, our servers automatically record information about your usage of our website through cookies.
